These are the first pictures I took with a 4x5 view camera. I set them up in a room in my house that has beautiful natural window light, and provided a bit of supplemental illumination with a clamp light. I thought that still life arrangements would suit the learning process since they are patient, manageable and unchanging, exactly what the fumbling student-photographer needs.
