In the winter of 2012 I spent several nights taking photographs of fountains on the campus of Stanford University, the place where I grew up (my father was a professor), where I was a college student, and later where I worked for many years. It was a project for a class at Foothill College taught by Keith Lee. In this gallery I've added some non-fountain images in homage to Robert Adams' wonderful collection Summer Nights, a work I only encountered recently, after my own winter night wanderings.
