For quite a while I have been obsessed with photographing the shadows I pass while on my regular morning walk through the neighborhood. I am fascinated not only by the shapes and subtle tones of these silhouettes, but also by their evanescent nature and by the interesting ways in which they interact with the solid forms and textured surfaces under my feet onto which they are projected. These are color images taken with a small digital camera I carry in my pocket.
